Bulgaria air is acquiring new Embraer Jet. The plane made in Brazil has 108 seats. Hundred of them in economy and 8 in business. By October 2012, Bulgaria air will receive total of 9 Embraer Jets.

Bulgaria Air will commence flights to Belgrade, Serbia


The Bulgarian national carrier, Bulgaria Air, will commence flights from its hub, Sofia, to Belgrade this winter. A source within the national carrier has confirmed to EX-YU aviation news that the airline is likely to begin 3 weekly flights at the start of the 2011/2012 winter season.

New Airport Plans In Bulgaria


The Bulgarian government has voted in agreement to convert a disused former military airport on the Black Sea Coast into a civilian airport. The airport which is situated just outside of the tourist town of Balchik will provide flight services for many of the northern Black Sea resorts such as Albena,Golden Sands and of course Balchik.
