Dolphinarium


If you are visiting Varna, the dolphinarium is a fun place to see. The dolphinarium is the entertainment attracting the largest number of visitors. It is an amphitheater with a 6 meters in diameter pool in the middle. They have scheduled daily performances with dolphins. The dolphinarium is closed on Monday.

The Sea Garden


One of Varna's landmarks is the Sea Garden. The first recreation center was opened here in 1862, but the true decorative arrangements of the park started in 1895. It is the largest park in Varna and is one of most beautiful parks on the Balkan Peninsula too. Rare vegetation species grow here. There are monuments of prominent Bulgarian National Revival figures.

Saints Constantine and Helena


Saints Constantine and Helena is the oldest Bulgarian resort on the Black Sea. The resort is located about 6 miles north-east from Varna and is named after a monastery in the vicinity built around the 16th century. They say the monastery was founded by a group of monks who sought refuge in the forest from ottoman soldiers.
