Snezhanka (cave)

Vitosha mountain
Vitosha is the most visited Bulgarian mountain. It rises immediately above Sofia and is one of the symbols of our capital city. Rila mountain
The Rila Mountain is situated in the southwestern part of Bulgaria. To the south it is divided from the Pirin Mountain through the picturesque saddle “Predela”, to the north it is connected with Verila Mountain with the Klisura saddle. Pirin Mountain
Pirin is the most beautiful and most Alpine type of mountain in Bulgaria. It is the second highest after the Rila mountain (in Bulgaria) and third in the Balkan Peninsula (after Olympus of Greece – Mt. Mitika, 2917 metres). Pirin is situated in the south-western part of the country and has covered the south-western corner of the Rila-Rhodope mountain massif. Yumruka Peak
Yumruka Peak is in the Balkan mountain range or Stara Planina, and it is part of Bulgaria’s National Park “Tsentralen Balkan” (Central Balkan). The peak itself is almost 6 000 feet high, there is a chalet nearby called “Eho” and to the west there is Vezhen peak.
