Polska skakavitza waterfall is situated in the Zemen mountain at 700 meters above sea level between two towns Zemen and Kuystendil. It is only 80 km south of Sofia. It is formed by the small river that passes through the village nearby.  The waterfall is not very high only 50 m but the magnificence view of the falling waters attracts many visitors to the site.

The waterfall is easily reachable. There are two ways to get to the place either by train or by car. If you choose to travel by train , first check the schedule of the train. You should get down at Skakavitza station. After the station follow the rails until you reach a small path. After that you have around 15-20 minutes walking.

If you choose to travel by car, take the road to Kuystendil. You have to pass through a small village called Rajdavitza. When you reach the route fork after the village, turn right. The road is not very good and it is not appropriate for low cars. You better take the final passage walking which will cost you about 30 minutes. And then among the dense greenery you will see a splendid natural beauty - Polska skakavitza waterfall.
