Ryanair carries out first Milano-Plovdiv flight

Plovdiv airport`s development fund welcomes two new municipalities

On a meeting of the members of Plovdiv Airport`s development fund, two new municipalities have been added to its ranks. Those are Plovdiv and Chepelare. This was revealed by the airport`s executive director Doychin Angelov. After those two entered the fund, they`ll have to pay their fee which will be around 200 000 BGN.

On the first day of March and few days afterwards, Bulgarians exchange and wear white and red tassels or small dolls called "Пижо и Пенда" (Pizho and Penda). In Bulgarian folklore the name Baba Marta (in Bulgarian баба Марта meaning Grandma March) is related to a grumpy old lady whose mood swings change very rapidly.

In Smolyan functions a unique facility - the Planetarium. The building has beautiful and original architecture. It is equipped with modern equipment. Next to it was built a small observatory, equipped with several telescopes. The largest of them has a diameter of 15 cm and with it in the clear sky, visitors can observe the Sun.
